My Journey: Discovering Adventure, One Step at a Time<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

My path hasn\u2019t been a straight line.<\/span><\/p>

For a long time, I tried to fit into what felt like the \u201cnormal\u201d life\u2014study, work, keep going. I started teacher training, but quickly realized the system didn\u2019t align with who I am. So I stopped and began working in hospitality. Living on my own, juggling multiple jobs just to get by\u2014life felt more like survival than truly living.<\/span><\/p>

Still, something kept pulling at me.<\/span>
<\/span> A quiet but persistent urge for freedom. For meaning.<\/span><\/p>

I tried to build my own business three times.<\/span>
<\/span> And failed each time.<\/span>
<\/span> Not because I wasn\u2019t capable\u2014but because my heart wasn\u2019t in it.<\/span><\/p>

The shift came during two canoe camping trips in Sweden and Norway.<\/span><\/p>

For the first time in years, I felt real calm.<\/span>
<\/span> No pressure. No noise.<\/span>
<\/span> Just nature. Simplicity. Space to breathe.<\/span><\/p>

Back in the Netherlands, I tried to return to that structured life. A job in recruitment, a routine that made sense on paper. But when I got the opportunity to work in Sweden, something clicked immediately.<\/span><\/p>

After 3.5 months there, I knew:<\/span>
<\/span> I couldn\u2019t go back to living between four walls.<\/span><\/p>

Today, I live and work fully outdoors.<\/span>
<\/span> I consciously choose less\u2014less distraction, less noise, less pressure.<\/span>
<\/span> And in return, I\u2019ve found more.<\/span><\/p>

More peace.<\/span>
<\/span> More clarity.<\/span>
<\/span> More freedom.<\/span><\/p>

With BareWanderer, I want to inspire others to take that same step.<\/span>
<\/span> To step away from what no longer feels right.<\/span>
<\/span> And move toward a life that actually feels like theirs.<\/span><\/p>

Because sometimes, a freer life begins<\/span>
